Ron Corning, one of Dallas’ favorite (and openly gay) news anchors, announced today that he’s leaving WFAA. His last day at the station is TBD.
Even if you didn’t watch Channel 8’s Daybreak morning news, you likely knew and admired Ron. He has been a mainstay of the nonprofit world – hosting hundreds of charitable events, many of them for LGBT causes. He lent his support to many, many more through his attendance and social media influence.
