Brunch Of The Week: We Love Men With Big Eggplants

With Thanksgiving a week away, we’re already anticipating the inevitable weight gain and overindulgence.

And like most Americans, we’ll probably consume way too many animal products, as much as we’re trying to cut back. So in a very small way to atone for our carnivorous sins, we’re encouraging everyone reading this to go vegan for brunch this weekend at one of the three Spiral Diner locations around the Metroplex.

These people have mastered the art of plant-based comfort food, which makes eating our veggies more enjoyable than ever before. Brunch is no different.

For first-time vegan brunchers, fear not. They have mimosas! Made with organic orange juice, no less. Or catch a buzz from a variety of espresso drinks to help maximize weekend productivity.

Then get to eatin’.

Pancakes have become fan favorites, with blueberries, chocolate chips and pecans as mix-in options. Or venture into delicious, eggless-egg-dish territory with a variety of scrambled tofu options ranging from brunch quesadillas to migas and breakfast sandwiches.

Biscuits and gravy will rock your world, too.

So veg out this weekend with us. Who knows, you might like the vegan lifestyle so much you’ll consider serving a tofurkey next Thursday.
