Our lives wouldn’t be complete without J.R. and Sue Ellen.
And not just the local gay bars bearing their names.
The nighttime soap Dallas was a huge influence on our teen years and even played a big part in making us want to live in Big D when we grew up. So imagine our excitement when we heard about the upcoming 40th anniversary of the iconic TV show.
In celebration of the milestone year, original cast members Linda Gray (Sue Ellen Ewing), Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing), Charlene Tilton (Lucy Ewing) and Steve Kanaly (Ray Krebbs) will all be in attendance
Presented by VisitDallas and Southfork Ranch, the celebration kicks off with a Southfork Fan Day on Friday, March 30 at the ranch itself, including a meet-and-greet with cast members.
The next day, devotees hit the Longhorn Ballroom on Corinth Street in Dallas for the Dallas Fan Party. Tickets include food, two drink tickets, valet parking, cast interviews on stage and live music from Neal McCoy.
Tickets are $125 per person and include admission to both events.
We’ll definitely be there, so join us at Southfork Ranch for two days of drama, intrigue and bodies of dead mistress/sisters-in-law floating in the Southfork pool.
We can only hope.
