The 1500s had Shakespeare.
The 2000s have Suzanne Somers.
Seems about right.
Though nearly four months away, we’ve already gotten our tickets to an Off-Broadway sensation that we’ve been dying to see. Celebrity Autobiography unleashes the real-life stories (and poetry) from the memoirs of famous people on May 25 and 26 at the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Moody Performance Hall.
You won’t know which books will be read and by whom, but every show features some pretty big names on both sides of the equation (though touring productions generally have a tad bit less star power).
The readings are 100-percent in the words of the celebs, whether it’s David Hasselhoff, Oprah, Cher or Dolly Parton, it’s the kind of stuff that brings history to life in a fantastic way.
Sorta like Hamilton.
