Brunch Of The Week: You Better Be Yolking

Clean your room. Eat your vegetables. Shave your back.

Nobody likes being told what to do.

And that’s true of brunch, too. After all, societal norms dictate that the best meal ever is only meant for weekends. But rules (and eggs) are made to be broken.

We’ve always loved Yolk, which now has locations in One Arts Plaza, Preston Center and Fort Worth. No matter which location you choose, you can enjoy brunch any day of the week—perfect for those Monday holidays (like the upcoming one) when nothing sounds better than eating Eggs Benedict on a patio with a mimosa.

Yolk definitely has you covered.

They have four kinds of Benedict (including a superb pot roast version),five-egg omelets, a plethora of French toast varieties, plus build-your-own scramble and skillets.

Each location offers a spacious patio for enjoying your meal along with strawberry-orange mimosas and Bloody Marys made with their own house mix. Sadly, Yolk is no longer BYOB, which was one of our favorite things about dining here before.

But being able to pop in on a random Wednesday for waffles and wine almost makes up for paying retail price for booze.

Almost.
