Even though the temperature’s dropping in a big way tomorrow, this weekend is set to be an absolutely gorgeous time to be on the patio.
And patios—like gays—are made for brunch.
So we recommend revisiting an always-great brunch spot: Jorge’s Tex-Mex Café in One Arts Plaza home to one of our all-time favorite patios in the city. They have plenty of traditional favorites for just 10 bucks apiece (huevos con chorizo, breakfast tacos, chilaquiles and fajita eggs Benedict), plus newer options including the Mexican quinoa and eggs bowl (pictured).
The brunch menu includes a lighter version of a traditional Bloody Mary, plus some super-creative mimosas featuring everything from fresh-squeezed orange juice to the more exotic flavors of guava, mango, blood orange or coconut. Any non-traditional mimosa always grabs our attention, so we love these a lot.
Because, well, as a people we’re pretty non-traditional ourselves.
