Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Blow By Blow

Feeling horny? French horny?

Then get ready to pop a tromboner this Friday, the Oak Lawn Band presents its fourth annual March for Freedom concert, which will be held at the Latino Cultural Center.

This years theme: Express Yourself.

The multi-instrument performance brings together crowd-pleasing favorites from Aaron Copland and Steven Reineke and merges them on a playlist with hits from the likes of Lady Gaga and Madonna, with pieces arranged and and/or composed by OLB members Michael Eaves and Dave Velez.

Meanwhile,  Don Jenkins (a.k.a. Donna Dumae) will be honored for 30 years of entertainment and service to the North Texas LGBT.

Or just slightly shorter than Bette Midler’s Tony Awards speech.
