The “Ice Cream Truck” singer knows what many gay guys want: hot men dancing, a lively jam and plenty of sassy commentary. Described as old-school hip-hop, the first single off his new music label Snow Cone, “Loose Wrists” dropped yesterday and with it a music video that could make men’s lace shorts an official trend (and a definite contender for group Halloween costumes).
The song is an homage to a femme pride movement Cazwell’s been seeing on social media for a few years now. He says it’s time to embrace our inner femme. (We know ours isn’t deep inside at all.)
Plus, the artist’s ready to be queerer than ever.
“We have a President that wants to take us off of the census and a Vice President that believes shock therapy will cure gayness,” he said. “At the end of last year, I vowed to be as gay as possible with my music and videos. We have to be more visible than ever and I hope I inspire that.”
So, without further ado, here’s Cazwell’s latest.
Make America Femme Again, indeed.
