The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The road to Dallas Red Foundation’s most epic party ever is paved with yellow bricks.

(We’ll take the latter, please.)

After the huge success of last year’s Red in Wonderland extravaganza, DRF has pulled out all the stops for a Wizard of Oz-based event titled Ruby City: You’re Not in Dallas Anymore. All ticket sales and bids for auction items benefit Legacy Counseling Center and Founders Cottage, an organization providing affordable mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and special care housing services to people living with HIV and AIDS in the North Texas area.

As always, dance the night away with tunes from DJ Stevie Ray while your host, reigning Miss Red Queen Jada Pinkett Fox keeps the festivities wickedly funny along with special guests, Raquel Black (the first-ever Miss Red Queen) and this year’s first runner-up, Gloria Devine. Each will be dressed in Oz-some costumes, of course, and if you’ve never seen them before, Jada and Gloria both sing live. Live, we tell ya!

All this while enjoying complimentary Stoli cocktails, Redd’s Apple Ale, Blue Moon, Miller Lite, and wine, included with every $35 ticket (of which you can win a pair by entering the giveaway at the end of this story). Or snag one of the limited VIP tickets for $100 and indulge in a pre-party with hors d’oeuvres and access to a private bar with Stoli’s Elite signature martinis all night long.

Plus, you’ll want to bid on fabulous prizes and luxurious experiences in the largest silent and live auctions in the Foundation’s history.

And the more signature martinis you drink, the greater your chances of going home with a piece of art that looks completely different hanging in your kitchen than you anticipated when placing that winning bid.

Not that we’re basing that on a true story or anything.
