Happy April 20, everyone!
Today’s a day when many people will be having some food cravings for some reason or another. And we’re here to tempt you with the promise of great food–you’ll just have to wait until next Wednesday.
That’s when the annual Dining Out in Dallas: Battle of the Chefs competition kicks off at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. It’s an evening of fab food from incredible chefs, led by this year’s host chef, Mike Shetsky (pictured), executive chef at SĒR Steak + Spirits. In total, 15 top restaurants will be handing out delicious bites, including Knife, Dragonfly, Nick & Sam’s and Pappas Bros. Steakhouse.
Celebrity hosts Jane McGarry and LeeAnne Locken will keep the crowd entertained, as well as apprised of the guest votes for their favorite dish.
Of course, we’re most excited about the open bar featuring beer, wine and spirits.
The signature fundraising event for the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation is one of the best food events of the year due to the quality of restaurants and the limited number of tickets sold. Which reminds us, make sure to purchase your tickets in advance for just $100 (they go up to $125 on April 24).
We know this won’t help with your cravings today, but good things come to those who wait.
