Here’s one for the record books! Shia LaBeouf’s new movie “Man Down” set a record, not sure it is one the studio or LaBeouf wants, but it is a record nonetheless! In the UK the movie sold three (3), yes you read that right…just three tickets (one was at the student price), TOTAL over its premiere weekend! The movie did do a bit better in the US, bringing in $455,000.00, which is still low by Hollywood standards.
Former male stripper turned Hollywood A-Lister Channing Tatum and his actress wife Jenna Dewan rented a “Sin City” mansion while Channing ensured the new live Vegas “Magic Mike” show at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino which he is producing. It debuts in a fabulous manner! As a thank you for all their hard work Mr. and Mrs. Tatum hosted the entire cast, crew and their families to their rented abode for some fun in the pool, basketball and tennis on the estate’s private courts, touch football and a delicious BBQ meal! My sources told me everyone kept their clothes on for this soiree! #bummer
Ooops! Sigourney Weaver, who starred in the original Avatar movie let it slip that they are doing a sequel to the 2009 blockbuster and she is in it! She stated she is training now and shooting is slated to begin this fall!
Dwayne the Rock Johnson has set the record straight! He did not go bald, it was his choice to have a fabulously shiny dome! He posted a GIF of his head full of curly hair, which he described as a cross between an afro and the hair on a lama’s private parts…Oh My!
Jessica Chastain revealed she would always be appreciative of the Hollywood “courtesy” Tom Cruise extended to her. She was slated to co-star with Cruise in the movie “Oblivion” and right as production was to begin she got a call from Kathryn Bigelow regarding the movie “Zero Dark Thirty”. She wanted to be in the Bigelow film and asked Cruise if she could be released from his movie. He said YES! Good decision for Chastain, she went on to receive an Oscar nomination for her work in the film. Olga Kurylenko went on to star in “Oblivion” with Cruise.
