Ninety percent of what comes out of our mouth is laughter.

The other 10 percent is vodka. Because we’re laughing too hard to keep it all in.

If you love to laugh as much as we do (or even if you just like the occasional Japenese girl behind-the-hands giggle), we have the ideal event for you this week.

The 2017 Dallas Comedy Festival kicks off tomorrow, and it’s going to be the most hilarious yet.

For five nights in a row, catch the greatest in sketch comedy, stand-up and improv with some of the greatest comedic talents in the world.

There are plenty of entries right up our alley, including the pun-intended Jason: A Campy Musical, about none other than the hockey mask-clad serial killer from the ’80s and ’90s.

But we’re most excited to see out comedian James Adomian (pictured above). Catch his brilliant comic mind in action Thursday or Friday night at 10:00 p.m. on the Dallas stage.

Even the non-gays are funny, of course, but we’re all about supporting our own.

And maybe discovering a few others backstage here and there.
