Queer New Year

usa-12_23_15Not everyone enjoys a big party on New Year’s Eve. Heck, we can be lured into the back of a stranger’s van if there’s a promise of free champagne.

Clearly we’re not choosy.

So if you happen to be home next Thursday night instead of dancing the night away in a club, you can gay up 2015 until the very last seconds in a different way.

After your fiusa-12_23_15(2)rst bottle of bubbly, flip on NBC’s New Year’s Eve Game Night With Andy Cohen, a special live holiday version of the Jane Lynch celeb-filled game show, Hollywood Game Night. Andy will be joined by eight celebrities for all sorts of shenanigans, made even better because it’s not pre-recorded.

Have another bottle of bubbly, then flip over to CNN for our favorite pairing this side of usa-12_23_15(3)a rare Cabernet Sauvignon and a medium-rare Wagyu beef filet: Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper. We love that they threaten to ban the outrageous Ms. Griffin every year, then bring her back again and again.

usa-12_23_15(4)But whatever you do for New Year’s Eve, we hope it’s fantastic, gay, and full of laughter and love. We’re taking next week off to rest our weary typing fingers, so until then…

Happiest of holidays to everyone and thank you for supporting He Said Magazine!
