Neil Down Before Him

usa-09_14_15Hollywood thrives on finding triple threats.

We just don’t think they were ever expecting to discover a septuple threat.

That’s exactly what Neil Patrick Harris will be doing in tomorrow night’s live, one-hour variety show, Best Time Ever.

Rosie tried the genre. So did Maya Rudolph. And Wayne Brady, of course, will attach himself to anything once.

They all failed. Quickly.

But if there’s one man who can possibly make the variety show work, it’s our beloved NPH.

His show is based on an already-successful British hit (Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway), so that’s at least a good start.

In each 60-minute production, there will be big-name celebrities participating alongside Harris in several segments, which include hidden camera pranks, game shows, comedy sketches and even at-home-audience participation. He claims it’s seven shows in one.

Here’s betting he masters them all.

Hell, we’ll settle for five.
