Said the night wind to the little lamb: Get the heck to Dallas City Performance Hall!
It’s time once again for one of our favorite holiday traditions as Turtle Creek Chorale presents their traditional holiday concert, Jangled. For 35 years the TCC has become synonymous with delivering holiday spirit in Dallas and they seem to get better every performance.
As usual, the festive concert combines heartwarming tunes such as “Peace, Peace” performed in sign language alongside the outrageous antics and slapstick humor during the TCC’s rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas.”
There’s even a Saturday matinee just for the kids if you’ve got little ones who want to see Santa and sing along to tunes they’re familiar with.
Because it’s not likely they’ll know the words to “Betelehemu,” our favorite traditional African holiday carol of all time.
Which officially bumped “Baby, It’s Hot in Dubai” off our top-ten list long ago.
Tickets: $33-60 ($15-$30 for children’s matinee)
December 18-20 at 7:30 p.m.; December 21 at 2:30 p.m.
