Apple Launching a Gold iPad in October?

As the Moxie Mo Show reported back in August, Apple has some big plans for its customers not only this year… but also in 2015!

We already witnessed the most successful iPhone launch to date, with the larger iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. So what else can we expect from Apple this year? An iPad, of course!

Last year, Apple launched a new iPhone in September and then followed up by launching a new iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display in October. So it’s highly likely we will see a new iPad later this month.

Even better, newly leaked reports from today claim Apple is also expected to launch the first-of-its-kind gold iPad this month as well. Why gold? According to Bloomberg.com, “Apple will add a gold color option for its full-size iPads in an effort to boost a category that’s posted declining shipments this year.” In other words, iPad sales have weakened, so adding a new color option will help boost sales of the 9.7-inch iPad. It’s expected the 9.7-inch iPad will sport Apple’s TouchID fingerprint sensor, an improved A8 processor chip, better resolution display and of course improvements to its iSight cameras. The Moxie Mo will keep you updated as we get closer to the event!

But what about the really large 12.9-inch “iPad Pro” that we spoke about in August? Experts claim Apple is indeed working on it and it will launch in early 2015 (right in time with the Apple Watch!). We’ll keep you posted!
